Menopause Stages

Menopause StagesMenopause is a process during which the ovaries gradually slow their production of hormones and stop releasing eggs. While it marks the end of fertility for a woman, it can signify far more and be the start of a new phase of life. There are three primary stages of menopause.

Perimenopause is the initial stage. Symptoms of perimenopause may begin when a woman enters her late 30s and include hot flashes, dry skin, mood swings, breast tenderness, irregular periods and burning tongue menopause. These symptoms can resemble premenstrual symptoms and can significantly disrupt day-to-day living. They are largely due to fluctuating hormone levels, but they can continue even after your hormones have leveled out.

Menopause is the next stage. Menopause is defined as one full year without a menstrual cycle. While your hormone levels have evened out, they are now at a consistently low level. You may notice that some of your symptoms are a thing of the past, but they may have been replaced with new symptoms, such as dry mouth, dry eyes and insomnia.

The final stage of menopause is post-menopause. At this point, your periods have ended, but your hormone levels are significantly lower than they were during your fertile years. As a result, you may be at an increased risk of certain health problems, including heart disease and osteoporosis.

DON’T PAUSE has been designed to address each of these symptoms of menopause by addressing the underlying cause of them: hormones. It balances your hormone levels using only natural herbs, vitamins and antioxidants. With DON’T PAUSE, your body will have the gentle, natural support that it needs to see you through each stage of menopause.
